ECCO (East Coast Chamber Orchestra) is a dynamic collective that combines the strength and power of a great orchestra with the sensitivity of superb chamber music. Drawing from the leading soloists and orchestral musicians of today’s younger generation, ECCO is joined by Shai Wosner, a pianist of exceptional artistry and creative insight. Their Meany debut features Vijay Iyer’s Handmade Universe, a new piano concerto written for Shai Wosner and ECCO that blends jazz harmonies with intricate orchestrations.
