About
Originally built in 1925, the space was once home to the Karlov Theater. Today, it has been transformed into a vibrant arts and community hub that includes a media center for creative youth, a rehearsal space for professional artists, a dance studio, two apartments for touring artists, and a multipurpose theater for performances and events.
As part of a capital campaign, Segundo Ruíz Belvis Cultural Center revitalized the space to support both performing and visual arts. The former theater now serves as a dynamic venue for theater productions, art installations, live music events, and video and photography projects.
